Wolds Edge Holiday Lodges and Nordic Walking Instructor, Jason Feavers, would like to welcome you to the beautiful and undiscovered Yorkshire Wolds.

This Nordic Walking holiday will introduce you to walks ideal for Nordic walking, seated meditation techniques as well as giving you a fabulous introduction to the areas natural beauty. Jason developed the Wellbeing program and teaches the instructor training courses for Nordic Walking UK. If you would like to learn to Nordic Walk and get the full mind body benefits this holiday is perfect for you. Jason combines Nordic Walking and Mindfulness to help you experience the benefits of Nordic Walking with an increased awareness of your movement and connection with the natural environment.

Itinerary

Day 1
Arrivals from 3 pm. Welcome meeting at 6.30 pm when you will meet your fellow Nordic walkers and Jason will outline the plan for the next couple of days.
7.00 pm – Dinner (included)

Day 2
Breakfast basket included
8.45 Meet at welcome room
9.00 NW technique refresher session
10.00 Coffee and homemade cake
10.30 Introduction to meditation
11.30 Applying mindfulness to Nordic Walking
12:30 Lunch Bishop Wilton (included)
13.30 Different approaches to meditation
14:15 NW including additional mindfulness techniques
16.00 Return to Wolds Edge
Evening at leisure

Day 3
7.45 Breakfast
8:30AM – Short and steep hill walk (optional)
9:30am – Developing a personal meditation practice
10:15am – Woodland walk and mindfulness technique practice
12 noon – lunch (not included)
1pm – Meditation session
1:30pm – using mindfulness to improve NW technique
3-4pm – final NW and mindfulness practice
Evening at leisure

Day 4

Jason Feavers – REPS Level 4 Instructor (Cancer, Cardiac, Diabetes, Back Pain), Exercise Referral Instructor, Nordic Walking Instructor, Tutor and assessor.
